We have already gone through different types of apps that can be built (native app, hybrid app & web app).
Now, you will study in-depth in building a hybrid app.
You can build a hybrid app in 3 ways:-
1. By learning HTML, CSS & javascript
2. By using online platforms
3. By hiring a freelancer Here, you can choose anyone (or) even combine depending on your knowledge and complexity of your app.
1. By learning HTML, CSS & javascript:-
If you have basic knowledge in HTML, CSS & javascript.
You can do frontend development to your app.(read my blog for more information)
You also need to do the backend development which requires good knowledge and experience in javascript.
Hence, if you don’t know code just like me.
Then, leave this option.
But…
If you are preparing to start a career in hybrid mobile app development, then I will suggest you learn HTML, CSS & javascript step by step as depth as possible.
2. By using online platforms:-
There are many online platforms where you can build your app so easily without writing a single line of code.
Wanna know about these online platforms?.
Alright, let’s go.
- GlideApps: This is my favorite platform to build apps without code. This is an app similar to AppSheet that builds apps using spreadsheets.
- Appsheet: This is also similar to Glideapps that allows you to create a spreadsheet and turns it into an app.
- Bubble.io:- For almost any kind of app like social media, maps, chat app, and so on. I prefer “Bubble.io”. This is a logic-based platform.
- Cloud match:- Cloud match will allow you to make a tinder-style recommendation app.
- Stencyl:- Stencyl will allow you to make video games without writing any code. Also, it works on all platforms like iPhone, Android, Wed, etc…
- Mighty Networks:- Mighty Networks will allow you to create your own social networking apps(making a profile, uploads, follow-ups, likes, community, messaging, calling, etc…).
- Appypie:- Appypie is also a well-known platform to build social networking, maps, and many more.
These are the 7 platforms to build your app based on your goals and your app requirements.
It’s always a wonderful experience to see a bunch of resources standing in front of you to build you.
Now, it’s your time to go through all of these platforms by keeping in mind the type and requirements for your app.
Then, select only one platform and forget the remaining.
Then, you have found the best resources to build your app.
But…
You need to take action to build your app by studying the selected platform as well as possible.
“In 2050, mobile app developers never write code to build apps”.
3. Hiring:-
If you are not interested to build your app by yourself then you can consider hiring a freelancer from Upwork (or) Fiverr.
But…
I prefer you to build your app prototype(by using drag and drop platforms) by yourself.
Because only you can understand & feel your app and what problem it solves.
Later, if you face any difficulty in doing it, then you can hire others.
Also…
If you have any friend who knows to code then you can take his/her help & you can also partner with your friend.
Then, there will be a possibility to get a business partner for your app.
